Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment (register, calculator, scanner).
• Strong math and numerical attention; able to count and read.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and push grocery carts up to 4 feet.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Visiting registers and providing direction to cashiers.
• Assist with customer issues at the register.
• Schedule breaks and ensure policy compliance.
• Hire and train new cashiers; handle disciplinary steps.
• Maintain cleanliness and security in front-end areas.
• Ensure proper cash handling and loss prevention.
