Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier for our store in Louisiana. The LC drives guest transactions with a focus on loyalty, delivers exceptional service, trains new cashiers, and supports leadership in cashwrap operations, ensuring clean, inviting displays and accurate register handling.

Responsibilities include mentoring cashiers, meeting sales goals, and delivering personalized Ulta Beauty experiences while maintaining store standards and upholding policies.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, omni‑channel, guest loyalty
• Greet and engage each guest, personalize service, and recommend Ulta Beauty products
• Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges
• Pair guests with an associate for makeup applications and product demonstrations
• Book appointments for services and in-store events
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures
• Adhere to store policies and dress code
• Complete register open/close functions as directed
• Assist in cashier training and cross-training of associates
• Lead cashier accountability to deliver a premium Ulta Beauty experience
• Collaborate with management to grow the business
