Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Lead Cashier to drive guest transactions with excellence at the cashwrap and support training of new cashiers. You will lead by example in loyalty programs, credit engagement, and store procedures while ensuring a welcoming, high-service environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of related experience, strong sales skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail setting, with a high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant retail work experience.
• Ability to delegate, multi-task and problem-solve.
• Passion for guest service and selling.
• Experience addressing guests' concerns professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals for retail and service sales, loyalty, and shrink.
• Provide exceptional guest service and personalize recommendations.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with courtesy.
• Coordinate makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demos to drive sales.
• Book and support services and in-store events for guest experience and sales.
• Maintain cashwrap displays and ensure cleanliness and organization.
