Job summary

Ulta Beauty in New Jersey is seeking a Lead Cashier to ensure smooth guest transactions, maintain cashwrap standards, and train new cashiers. This role emphasizes loyalty, guest experience, and teamwork.

You will support opening/closing, help with product demonstrations, and uphold store cleanliness while meeting sales goals. A high school diploma and at least two years of cashier or retail experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting store goals related to retail and service sales, loyalty, and shrink
• Greet and engage guests, personalize service, and recommend Ulta Beauty products/services
• Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training other associates
• Handle transactions including returns and exchanges according to policies
• Maintain cashwrap displays and ensure guest-readiness throughout the store
• Support opening/closing register functions and adherence to procedures
