Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Sterling, VA is seeking an experienced Lead Cashier to ensure efficient guest transactions and maintain cashwrap excellence. You will train new cashiers, cross-train teammates, and lead by example to deliver outstanding guest service and loyalty results.

You will manage register open/close, assist with inventory and displays, and uphold Ulta's standards, while building strong customer relationships and supporting the leadership team to achieve store goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, loyalty, and credit.
• Greet guests, provide personalized service, and drive sales at the cashwrap.
• Train new cashiers and cross-train associates in cashiering.
• Lead cashier functions, ensure accuracy in cash handling and transactions.
• Maintain cashwrap displays and store cleanliness; support training and development.
