Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Chester, VA is seeking a Lead Cashier to drive guest experience and loyalty through exceptional service, accuracy, and teamwork. This role supports the leadership team with register operations, coaching new cashiers, and ensuring cashwrap standards.

You will greet guests, handle transactions, demonstrate products, and assist with appointments and events to boost sales while maintaining store cleanliness and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• Proven ability to delegate, multi‑task, and problem‑solve
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, loyalty, and shrink.
• Greet and engage guests, personalize service, and recommend Ulta products/services.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Pair guests with an associate for makeup applications, skincare analysis and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to drive sales and loyalty.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures.
• Ensure attendance and punctuality.
