Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier (LC) to drive guest transactions efficiently and uphold cashwrap standards with a focus on loyalty and service. You will train new cashiers, assist in cross-training, and lead by example in performance, guest experience, and process adherence.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in transactions, and collaboration with the leadership team to meet store goals and deliver a premium beauty experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals related to retail and service sales and guest loyalty.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest and personalizing recommendations.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with courtesy and accuracy.
• Pair guests with an associate for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demos to drive sales.
• Book appointments and support in-store services and events to boost guest experience and sales.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures for guest readiness.
• Attend training and collaborate with managers and peers to grow the business.
• Adhere to store policies, procedures, and safety standards.
