Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to drive guest transactions with a focus on loyalty and exceptional service. The LC will train new cashiers, supervise cashwrap operations, and help maintain appealing displays while meeting sales goals.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to policies, and delivering a premium guest experience through product knowledge and efficient transactions across in-store and omni-channel actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent education.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi‑task and problem‑solve.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Experience exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed the store's goals related to retail and service sales, omni‑channel, guest loyalty and be accountable for loyalty metrics.
• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting, engaging and personalizing service for each guest.
• Assist with cashiering, returns and exchanges with accuracy.
• Coordinate makeup applications, skincare analysis and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Support in maintaining cashwrap displays and overall store cleanliness and organization.
