Ulta Beauty in Livermore is seeking a Lead Cashier to drive guest satisfaction and loyalty through skilled cashiering, service, and team leadership. The role trains new cashiers, ensures cashwrap excellence, and supports store goals in a fast-paced environment.

The Lead Cashier partners with managers to deliver exceptional guest experiences, manage transactions, and promote the Ulta Beauty loyalty program while maintaining store standards and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination preferred.
• Ability to delegate, multi-task and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and selling.
• Experience addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Experience exceeding sales goals and training new hires.
• Proficient with basic technology (POS) and Apple devices.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals related to retail, service sales, loyalty, and shrink.
• Provide exceptional guest service with greeting, engagement, and personalized service.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Pair guests with an associate for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and demos to drive sales.
• Book appointments and support services and in-store events.
• Replenish and maintain cashwrap displays and impulse fixtures.
• Maintain regular attendance.
