Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to drive guest service excellence, manage cashwrap standards, and support training and loyalty initiatives. This role focuses on delivering a seamless checkout experience and partnering with the leadership team to uphold store standards.

The Lead Cashier will assist in training new cashiers, manage register duties, and ensure a welcoming, organized environment that promotes the Ulta Beauty Loyalty Life Cycle and overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, loyalty, and shrink.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging customers and personalizing service.
• Assist in training new cashiers and cross-training associates in cashiering.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures for guest-readiness.
• Support opening/closing register functions and compliance with procedures.
