Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to drive guest service and cashwrap excellence in our store. You will lead transactions, assist in training cashiers, and collaborate with the team to meet sales and loyalty goals.

You’ll ensure accurate cash handling, manage open/close duties, and maintain store cleanliness while delivering an exceptional guest experience and promoting the Ulta Beauty loyalty program.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales and loyalty programs
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service at the cashwrap and on the salesfloor
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with accuracy
• Lead and assist in makeup applications and product demonstrations to drive sales
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures and ensure store readiness
