Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to optimize guest transactions, maintain cashwrap standards, and support loyalty initiatives. You will guide and train new cashiers, manage open/close procedures, and ensure exceptional service while driving sales and customer satisfaction.

You will lead by example, maintain store standards, and collaborate with the team to deliver a seamless guest experience across all channels. This role requires flexibility with schedule and a can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cashier/retail experience.
• Strong guest service and selling skills.
• Ability to delegate, multi-task and problem-solve.
• Experience training new cashiers and cross-training associates.
• Proficient with POS systems and basic technology.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals for retail, service sales, loyalty, and shrink reduction.
• Provide exceptional guest service and deliver personalized assistance at the cashwrap.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with courtesy and efficiency.
• Partner with associates to perform makeup applications and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Assist in training and development of new cashiers and maintain cashwrap operations.
