Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to manage guest transactions, maintain cashwrap standards, and assist in training new cashiers. The role emphasizes delivering an exceptional guest experience, driving loyalty, and leading a team to meet sales goals.

The Lead Cashier will support open/close procedures, ensure compliance with policies, and help maintain store cleanliness and appearance while coaching peers toward performance excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; retail cashiering experience required.
• Minimum 2 years in relevant work experience; strong sales skills.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and solve problems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting store goals related to sales, loyalty, and shrink.
• Ensure exceptional service with a guest-friendly environment and personalized assistance.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with courtesy.
• Coordinate makeup applications and demos to drive sales and guest experience.
• Support training of new cashiers and cross-train associates.
