Job summary

Ulta Beauty Lead Cashier (LC) is responsible for the efficiency of guest transactions and maintaining cashwrap standards, including cleanliness and overall aesthetics. The LC assists in training new cashiers and cross-training other associates, showing ability to lead and influence peers.

The role drives loyalty results through guest experience, credit, and performance, partnering with store leadership on open/close procedures and cashier chats/outs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed the store’s goals related to retail and service sales and loyalty.
• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and engaging each guest and recommending Ulta Beauty products/services.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Pair guests with associates to perform makeup applications and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and support in-store events to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures for guest-readiness.
• Participate in ongoing training and collaborate with store leadership and teammates.
