Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to ensure efficient guest transactions, uphold cashwrap standards and deliver an exceptional loyalty experience. The LC trains new cashiers, supports opening/closing duties, and helps drive sales through personalized service and product recommendations.

You will build strong customer relationships, manage returns and exchanges, and maintain store cleanliness and asset protection while working with the leadership team to meet store goals and loyalty targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant cashier/retail experience.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi‑task and problem‑solve.
• Demonstrated passion for guest service and selling.
• Experience addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals for retail and service sales and loyalty.
• Provide exceptional service with greeting, engagement and product recommendations.
• Handle sales, refunds and exchanges with courtesy.
• Pair guests with associates for makeup applications and demonstrations.
• Book appointments and support in‑store services and events.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies and impulse fixtures.
• Maintain regular attendance and store cleanliness.
