Job summary

Ulta Beauty in the United States seeks a Lead Cashier to ensure efficient guest transactions and maintain cashwrap standards. The role includes training new cashiers, cross-training peers, and driving loyalty and credit program results.

The LC will lead open/close register tasks, maintain displays, and support the leadership team to achieve store goals through exceptional guest service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, loyalty and credit.
• Greet and engage guests, tailor service to their needs, and recommend Ulta Beauty products and services.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously and efficiently.
• Coordinate with associates to provide makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience and sales results.
