Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to ensure efficient guest transactions and maintain cashwrap standards while training new cashiers and cross-training peers. The LC drives loyalty results through focused performance, guest experience, and loyalty program promotions.

The role requires a passion for guest service, strong teamwork, and the ability to manage register operations, returns, and exchanges with accuracy. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals related to retail and service sales, loyalty, and shrink.
• Provide exceptional guest service with a greeting and personalized recommendations.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges politely and efficiently.
• Coordinate makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demos to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to enhance guest experience and meet sales targets.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures for guest readiness.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality.
