Sprouts Farmers Market in Palm Harbor, FL is seeking a Head Cashier who will supervise a team of cashiers and support store operations with a focus on customer service excellence. You'll train and mentor staff, oversee scheduling and breaks, and ensure accurate register handling while maintaining a friendly, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training.
• Be dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor, positive attitude, interact with customers as a role model.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication; take direction and work in a team environment.
• Able to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. for up to 50 hours; push carts up to 35 lbs. for up to 50 hours.
• Proficient in cash handling and basic math; able to read, write and count.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Proactively visit registers and provide direction/support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assist in handling customer issues at the register.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in restrooms and parking areas.
