Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced frontline team, deliver outstanding customer service, and model professionalism across shifts in Kyle, Texas. You will supervise cashiers, coordinate breaks, and support store operations with a focus on accuracy and teamwork.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership training, are 18+, and can lift up to 30 lbs. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within Sprouts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience plus leadership training.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Exhibit outgoing, friendly behavior and model positive customer service.
• Operate front-end equipment; register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Lift/carry up to 30 lbs., move carts up to 35 lbs., up to 50 hours as needed.
• Bright attention to detail and proficiency in cash handling and math.
• Read, write and count accurately in daily cashier operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent customer service by proactively assisting cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Assist with customer issues at the register as needed.
• Assign store sweeps, monitor cash register supplies and restroom/parking lot cleanliness.
• Maintain exit door visibility for security and loss prevention.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state rules.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and address disciplinary actions.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team success.
