Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver excellent service, assist customers with merchandise selection, and handle transactions on the POS system. You will also support store operations, attend to safety standards, and help reduce losses.

Experience as a cashier in retail is preferred. The role may involve flexibility in hours and shifts, with benefits for eligible associates and opportunities for growth within Lowe’s.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service at all times through Lowe’s policies and programs
• Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Process sales transactions and returns at the cash register according to company guidelines
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with safety and housekeeping standards
• Identify shoplifting risks and communicate them to management or Asset Protection
