Job summary

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and retail cashier experience; basic computer and mobile device familiarity; ability to obtain applicable sales licenses as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable.
• Less than 1 year experience using a computer.
• Less than 1 year experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• 1 year retail experience as a cashier.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs.
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions and walks customers through projects when necessary.
• Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information.
• Coaches and trains associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities.
