Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and deliver exceptional customer service in a busy Mesa store.

You will supervise cashiers, assist with store operations, and help maintain security and accuracy at the registers. A proven track record in cashiering with leadership experience is required, along with a flexible schedule and strong math skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of recent cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong cash handling and mathematical skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Proactively visit registers and provide direction to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Assign store sweeps, monitor cash register supplies, and maintain restrooms and parking lot cleanliness.
• Ensure exit doors are secure and assist with loss prevention.
• Schedule and oversee breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers.
