Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise a fast-paced team of cashiers and assist with daily operations. You will ensure excellent customer service, direct staff, and manage register-related issues in a friendly environment.

The role requires 18+ years old with 1–2 years cashiering experience and leadership training, plus flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Front-end duties include cash handling and customer assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience plus leadership training.
• Must be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Assist customers with issues at the register.
• Schedule meal and rest breaks per policy and state law.
• Participate in hiring and training new cashiers and handle disciplinary actions.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy and loss prevention awareness.
