Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to ensure efficient guest transactions and maintain cashwrap standards. The role involves training new cashiers, cross-training associates, and driving loyalty through excellent guest experiences and service quality.

Responsibilities include leading by example, handling sales and returns, coordinating makeup applications, and supporting the leadership team with register functions and store upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed the store's goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty and yield.
• Ensure every guest receives exceptional service with a greeting, engagement, and personalized recommendations.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with courtesy and accuracy.
• Coordinate makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to enhance guest experience while meeting sales targets.
• Maintain cashwrap displays and ensure guest-readiness at all times.
• Maintain regular attendance and store standards.
