Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Lead Cashier to ensure efficient guest transactions, maintain cashwrap standards, and support the store team with open/close procedures. The LC champions the guest experience, loyalty initiatives, and sales performance.

You will train new cashiers, cross-train associates, and help maintain store cleanliness and appearance while delivering exceptional service and product demonstrations to drive loyalty and revenue.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and selling.
• Experience addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals related to retail and service sales, loyalty, and shrink.
• Provide excellent guest service, greeting and engaging each guest and recommending Ulta products/services.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with accuracy.
• Pair guests with associates for makeup applications and demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures; ensure guest-readiness.
• Assist in training of new cashiers and cross-training of associates.
