Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to drive guest experiences at the cashwrap, manage transactions, and support loyalty initiatives. You will train new cashiers, collaborate with the leadership team, and help maintain store standards with a focus on sales and service excellence.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and about 2 years of relevant experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve store goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty and credit
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging guests, personalizing service, and recommending Ulta Beauty products and services
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges in a courteous manner
• Pair guests with an associate for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience while achieving sales goals
• Replenish, organize, and maintain cashwrap displays and supplies for guest readiness
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance
• Lead and train cashiers; cross-train associates in cashiering
