Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer or retail technology
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Uses a cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds according to company guidelines
• Ensures proper monetary change to Front End associates and maintains cash drawer accuracy
• Inspects merchandise, prepares register area, and assists in loading tickets and orders
• Looks up product information and verifies pricing for price-matching
• Monitors safety, housekeeping, and security to maintain a safe store environment
• Performs other duties as assigned
