Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer at work.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe’s policies and programs.
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Handles sales transactions, returns, and refunds per company guidelines and ensures proper change.
• Coaches and trains associates in department duties or sales opportunities.
• Monitors store entrances/exits and assists customers or associates who trigger alarms.
• Ensures housekeeping and safety standards are followed and store area is organized.
