Job summary

Lowe’s Stores is seeking an enthusiastic cashier and customer service associate in a fast-paced retail environment. You will greet customers, assist with product selection, operate the register, and help ensure a smooth checkout experience.

You will also respond to inquiries, support price matching, and help maintain store standards and safety. Prior cash handling and retail experience are preferred, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
• Less than 1 year experience using a computer.
• Less than 1 year experience with common retail technology such as smartphones/tablets.
• 1 year retail experience as a cashier.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service through Lowe's policies and programs.
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Responds knowledgeably to customer and employee questions and walks them through projects in store.
• Communicates information about stock, special orders, features, applications and warranty information.
• Coaches and trains associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities.
