Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year experience using a computer.
• Less than 1 year experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• 1 year retail cashier experience.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies and programs.
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Listens to and responds to customer and employee questions and guides them through projects in-store.
• Communicates information about stock, special orders, features, warranties, and programs to customers.
• Uses a cash register to process sales, returns, and refunds per company guidelines.
• Removes security tags, verifies product information, and bags merchandise for customers.
• Maintains register area readiness and stocking of supplies at shift start and end.
• Inspects returned merchandise and verifies receipts and loading tickets.
