Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate to provide exceptional customer service, assist shoppers, and operate the cash register. You will guide customers to products, demonstrate, load merchandise, and ensure accurate pricing and returns while maintaining store standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication, and basic computer skills. Experience in retail cashier roles is preferred; training is provided to support safety and asset protection

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement.
Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer.
Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
1 Year Retail experience as a cashier.

Responsibilities

Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's policies and programs.
Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
Listens to and responds to questions, guiding customers through projects when necessary.
Processes sales transactions, returns, and refunds according to company guidelines.
Maintains store cleanliness and safety standards.
