Qualifications

• Be at least 18 with a HS diploma or GED and 1-2 years cashiering experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and role-model behavior.
• Ability to operate register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong numbers, cash handling, and math skills.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and push carts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent customer service by guiding Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assist with customer issues at the register.
• Schedule store sweeps and monitor cash register supplies; maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain exit doors visibility for security.
• Schedule breaks per policy and state requirements; oversee breaks.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers; disciplinary steps as needed.
