Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Head Cashier to supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations. You will drive excellent customer service and training, while managing scheduling and day-to-day front-end tasks.

The role requires 1–2 years cashiering experience, 18+ years old, and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays in a fast-paced retail environment. Competitive pay and benefits accompany growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience.
• Flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and ability to interact with customers as a role model.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Ability to perform repetitious tasks and multi-task effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Proactively visit registers to ensure excellent customer service and provide direction to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assist with customer issues at the register and manage store sweep assignments.
• Maintain cash register supply levels and restroom/parking lot cleanliness.
• Monitor security and loss prevention by keeping exit doors visible.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state rules.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and address disciplinary actions.
