Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Head Cashier to lead a busy front-end team and deliver outstanding customer service. You will supervise cashiers, assist with daily operations, and model professional behavior.

The role requires 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership training, a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and strong math and communication skills. DailyPay and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with high school diploma or GED and cashiering experience plus leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Proficiency in cash handling and math; reading, writing and counting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Proactively visit registers to provide direction and support to cashiers.
• Assist with customer issues at the register.
• Assign store sweeps; monitor cash register supply levels; maintain restroom and parking lot cleanliness.
• Maintain visibility of exits for security and loss prevention.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers; take disciplinary actions as needed.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a team-oriented culture.
