Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe’s policies and programs.
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise.
• Listens to and responds to customer and employee questions, guiding them to the right store areas for projects.
• Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special orders, features, and warranty info.
• Coaches and trains associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities.
• Operates cash register to process sales, returns, and refunds per guidelines.
• Removes security tags and bags merchandise for customers.
• Prepares register area at shift start/end and checks functionality of registers and scanners.
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages.
• Enters and processes customer orders and verifies receipts.
