Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Must be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude and able to interact with customers as a role model.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication, teamwork and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Proactively visit registers to ensure excellent customer service and provide direction to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks in line with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and take disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain cashier supply levels and cleanliness standards, and support security and loss prevention.
