Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a cashier team and support store operations with a focus on exceptional customer service. The role requires leadership, cash-handling skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will schedule breaks, assist in training, maintain register accuracy, and contribute to loss prevention and store cleanliness. A strong teammate with clear communication will excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Provide direction and support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Schedule proper meal and rest breaks in compliance with policy.
• Help in hiring and training new Cashiers and address disciplinary actions.
• Monitor cash handling and maintain register accuracy in a fast-paced store.
