Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. in Goodlettsville, TN is seeking a Lead Case Ready L004 for the Goodlettsville Case Ready Plant. Schedule is Monday-Friday 6am-3:30pm with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour. The role supports the supervisor by communicating instructions to the team and ensuring timely, accurate execution of daily tasks.

Responsibilities include supervising equipment operations, aiding with product flow and quality, and training team members. Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to monitor all equipment to ensure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Must be willing and able to assist the supervisor with day-to-day tasks to ensure proper product flow, product quality, yield, and labor efficiency.
• Must be willing and able to learn all positions in the department to assist with team member training. Other duties will include data entry and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Must be willing and able to have good communication and organizational skills and be able to perform tasks with limited supervision.

• Learn all departmental positions to aid in training team members and handle related data entry tasks.

• Be prepared to work overtime and weekends if required.

• 6 points or less with no suspensions in last 12 months will be considered.
• New hires must complete their initial 90-day probationary period.

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly.
