Job summary

RiseMe in Montebello, CA is seeking a Lead Case Manager to coach and supervise a unit of skilled case managers. You will oversee complex casework in foster care and protective services, while ensuring high-quality service delivery and staff development.

The role requires 3+ years in case management, trauma-informed practice experience, and strong collaboration with community partners. Exempt, with cross-functional responsibilities and regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

3+ years’ experience in case management.
Crisis intervention experience.
Training/experience in trauma-focused and/or trauma-informed practices.
Social services experience.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, stakeholders, etc.

Responsibilities

Plan, train, and coach the case management work of a unit of trained case managers performing difficult or complex casework in areas such as foster care placement, protective services, and ORR program components.
Assist in the development of community resources for all programs and participate in staff development and in-service training.
May direct and train the work of case managers on routine assignments.
Staff difficult casework decisions under supervision and review.
Represent the agency at conferences and address concerns raised by groups within assigned areas.
