Job summary

Father Joe’s Villages seeks a Supervisor of Case Management in San Diego to lead a team serving residents in Permanent Supportive Housing. You will coordinate crises, supervise staff, and ensure service quality and housing stability using trauma-informed, strengths-based approaches.

Responsibilities include guiding staff through service plans, ensuring accurate documentation, and fostering cross-team collaboration with community providers and property managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible case management or social services experience.
• At least 1 year of lead or supervisory experience in staff development and service delivery.
• Experience with homelessness, housing instability, or behavioral health challenges is preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed, strengths-based, client-centered approaches.
• Valid California driver’s license and ability to travel between program locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members to help residents maintain housing and access resources.
• Coordinate crisis response, case consultations, and day-to-day problem solving.
• Facilitate MAS meetings and strengthen coordination among staff, partners, and property management.
• Monitor caseloads, service plans, and documentation for quality and compliance.
• Guide staff in developing service plans and linking clients to resources.
