Job summary

Father Joe's Villages in San Diego seeks a Supervisor of Case Management to lead a team delivering housing-first, trauma-informed services in Permanent Supportive Housing. You will supervise, coach, and develop case managers and tenant service coordinators while maintaining direct client support as needed.

The role emphasizes program oversight, data quality, compliance, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in case management, social services, or related human services setting.
• One to two years of lead or supervisory experience
• Experience with housing-focused programs and homelessness services preferred.
• Valid California driver's license required.
• Strong knowledge of case management, service planning, documentation standards, and client-centered engagement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop Case Managers and Tenant Services Coordinators through regular supervision and mentorship.
• Provide hands-on support for complex client situations, including case consultation and service coordination.
• Coordinate MAS meetings and care planning with internal teams and external partners.
• Promote Housing First and trauma-informed practices across service delivery.
• Monitor caseloads, service plans, referrals, assessments, and HMIS entries for quality and compliance.
• Conduct file reviews and quality assurance activities to ensure program compliance.
• Monitor program performance and housing outcomes to identify trends and drive improvement.
• Carry a caseload and provide direct case management as needed.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
