Job Description:

Requirements:

• Active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance
• This position is contingent upon contract award

Responsibilities:

1. Oversees the construction, erection, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using hand tools and power tools, in accordance with local building codes.
2. Studies blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine material requirements and dimensions.
3. Selects appropriate materials such as lumber or fiberboard.
4. Prepares layout using measuring tools like rules, framing squares, and calipers.
5. Marks cut and assembly lines on materials.
6. Shapes materials to specified measurements using saws, chisels, and planes.
7. Assembles and fastens materials with nails, dowel pins, or glue.
8. Verifies the trueness of structures with tools like a plumb bob and carpenter’s level.
9. Constructs frameworks, lays sub-flooring, builds stairs, and installs partitions.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
