Job summary

Eleven Western Builders is seeking a Foreman Carpenter to lead carpentry crews on retail construction projects from start to finish. You will read plans, plan activities, and coordinate with management, subcontractors, and store personnel to maintain schedules and quality.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of commercial carpentry and 3+ years in leadership, with strong skills in framing, drywall and finish carpentry. Travel may be required; competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial carpentry experience.
• 3+ years in lead roles or foreman positions.
• Experience with retail, commercial TI, or remodel work.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead carpentry crews and execute commercial projects from start to finish.
• Plan work activities and sequence tasks to meet production goals.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and project schedules.
• Perform layout and ensure installations meet project requirements.
• Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, vendors, and store personnel.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and maintain a safe jobsite.
