Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration is seeking an Intermediate Carpenter (level 3) to support reconstruction efforts with extensive carpentry experience. This role requires working with minimal supervision, assisting estimators on scope development, and progressing from residential to commercial projects.

Responsibilities include handling contents, creating containment for dust, performing floodcutting, salvaging, labeling components, and meeting BELFOR safety standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive carpentry experience and ability to work with little supervision.
• Experience supervising unskilled labor in residential settings.
• Willingness to travel periodically and work nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address potential project problems and seek guidance as needed.
• Move and protect contents and construct containment for construction dust, dirt and contaminants.
• Perform floodcutting, salvage, and labeling of baseboards, cabinets, doors, etc.
• Attend shrink wrap training and complete 4 projects containing shrink wrap.
• Assist with scope development with BELFOR Estimators and run projects autonomously.
• Maintain safety and report time worked and materials used accurately.
