Sunrise Senior Living in New York is seeking a Lead Caregiver to serve as the shift leader, ensuring exceptional, consistent resident care while coaching and supporting the caregiving team.

You will lead shift assignments, provide hands-on ADL support when needed, review charting for ISP alignment, monitor resident changes, and mentor new staff. This role blends frontline caregiving with compassionate leadership.

Qualificações

• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Medication administration certification preferred.
• Strong communication, delegation and decision-making skills.
• Experience in assisted living or senior care.

Responsabilidades

• Lead shift assignments and manage attendance.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure ISP alignment.
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.
