Sunrise Senior Living in the United States is seeking a Lead Caregiver to serve as shift leader, delivering consistent resident care and mentoring the caregiving team.

You will supervise shift assignments, provide hands-on ADL support, coach on quality and documentation, review ISPs, and ensure safety and compliance while modeling professionalism and compassion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; age 18+.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.
