Job summary

Home Instead is seeking a Lead Care Professional to provide compassionate in-home support to aging clients across Mecklenburg County in Charlotte, NC. The role guarantees 40 hours per week with weekend work required, and involves mentoring caregivers and coordinating client introductions.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of caregiving experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Competitive pay and training are offered.

• Experience as Caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), CNA, PCA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and conversation to aging clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities: meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care.
• Alzheimer's and Dementia care.
• Mentor caregivers and introduce clients to caregivers.
• Support the emotional and social needs of clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Transportation and errands.
