Job summary

Barrow Brain and Spine is seeking a Care Coordinator to support physicians by handling patient intake, chart preparation, and front-office tasks. You will ensure accurate EMR data, coordinate patient flow, and assist with order entries and follow-ups.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and a patient-focused mindset to deliver exceptional experiences in a busy specialty practice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Registers new patients in the EMR prior to scheduling appointments.
• Performs clerical and customer service tasks for the physician's office.
• Ensures all initial consultations, notes, labs, radiology and pathology are available to the physician.
• Opens chart encounters in AthenaOne and maintains patient records.
• Greets patients and facilitates clinic flow and rooming.
• Takes vitals and records assessments for physician review.
• Enters orders and creates clinical visit summaries.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and coordinates referrals.
