Qualifications

  • BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire.
  • Credentials: CCI Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Cardiovascular Tech EP, or ARRT Radiography before hire.
  • Credentialing preferred before start date.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor vitals and cardiac data during procedures and alert physicians of changes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and manage case needs and inventory in real time.
  • Assist with patient transport, room setup, and post-procedure cleanup with safety focus.
  • Lead staff orientation, training, and contribute to performance evaluations.

How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Physiological Monitoring & Clinical Support: Perform active intra-procedural monitoring and calculations (heart rate, rhythm, cardiac output, shunting) while rapidly identifying and communicating critical condition changes to the physician and team.
  • Physician Collaboration & Material Management: Anticipate case and physician needs in real time, adapting quickly during procedures and consulting with leadership on product selection and inventory management.
  • Patient Care, Transport & Education: Assist with room setup, patient transport, and post-procedure cleanupâensuring strict safety and infection controlâwhile educating patients on insertion site care, activity guidelines, and warning signs.
  • Team Leadership & Operational Standards: Serve as a functional resource by leading staff orientation, training, and coaching, providing input on performance evaluations, and maintaining strict compliance with safety procedures.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s):

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following:
  • Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Preferred Credential(s):
  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
