Job summary

Guidehouse seeks an Associate Director-Capital Infrastructure Projects to lead cross-functional teams delivering major capital infrastructure, power generation, and grid transformation initiatives in the Arizona/Southwest region.

Role requires 7+ years in utilities project management, strong business acumen, and ability to manage budgets, contracts, and client expectations with a focus on execution excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, finance, public policy or related discipline and 7+ years post-graduation PM experience in power utilities.
• Master’s degree is a plus for advanced scope and leadership roles.
• Experience across capital projects lifecycle beyond IT project management; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor project teams; coordinate workstreams and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor activities and evaluate overall project performance and outcomes.
• Contribute to project planning, budgeting, and strategy development.
